ADDENDUM NUMBER 03 All prospective Bidders for the City of Decatur, Illinois, Clarifier Conversion Project No. 2016-03 are directed to the following additions and/or modifications to the original advertised "Project Manual, Specifications and Construction Plans". These documents are dated October 2021. This addendum forms a part of the bidding and contract documents and requires acknowledgement by the Bidder of receipt in the space provided on Page 16 of the Project Manual Bid Proposal. SPEC. SECTION ITEM and/or PLAN SHEET(s) DESCRIPTION Section 11215 — Horizontal REPLACE last sentence of 2.01 B 2. with "The need for 1 Self-Priming Rotodynamic a suction check valve or external priming 'deViGe shall Pump—General, Page 4 not be permitted." Section 11215-01 — REPLACE 2.02 C 2. in its entirety with "Pump Reprime 2 Horizontal Self-Priming Lift: At the specified speed and impeller diameter Rotodynamic Pump— utilizing the external priming assist device shown on the Dewatering, Page 2 Drawings, as needed." Alum skid pump supplier shall provide the local pump control panel as specified, but a separate PLC is not Section 11241 — Liquid required. When in Auto mode the SCADA system shall 3 Chemical Feed System fully control the pumps. If the SCADA system is out of Clarification service or being upgraded, the local system control will be available to locally control the pumps. (Series wire all SPD fail signals to one discrete input to PLC)" Section 16905—Systems ADD Item B.6. as follows, "PH (AIT-202) shall monitor 6 Integration the PH level of the effluent of the Filtered water. The Page 5 SCADA system shall indicate the PH level of the water." Section 16905 —Systems ADD Item B.7. as follows, "FIT-023 (16" magnetic meter 7 Integration for flow). This meter will indicate flow in the wash water Page 5 return line in gpm or MGD with a local display. The SCADA will also indicate such flow." 8 Section 16905 —Systems REVISE Item C.7. to reference P-121 in lieu of P-101 Integration, Page 6 for the South Claricone Dewatering Pump. ADD Item C.B. as follows, "FE-101: The flow totalizer Section 16905 —Systems will indicate the amount of flow from the plant water 9 Integration system to the South SCC Water Jet Influent.
