RESOLUTION NO. R2022 - RESOLUTION AMENDING TRANSIT MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS AGREEMENT WITH MV TRANSPORTATION, INC. WHEREAS,the CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, an Illinois municipal corporation and body politic("City") is a unit of local government pursuant to Article VII, Section 6 of the Illinois Constitution of 1970; and, WHEREAS, the City desires some improvements for mass transit operations, specifically as it relates facilities maintenance; and, WHEREAS, the City finds that this first amendment with MV Transportation, Inc., provides needed changes towards this goal, as well as provides flexibility of service options. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Decatur as follows: Section 1. The City of Decatur, Illinois management and operations agreement with MV Transportation, Inc.,be and is hereby amended as described in the attached agreement as Exhibit A, and the same is hereby, received,placed on file, and approved. Section 2. That the City Manager and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute the first amendment to the Mass Transit Management and Operations Agreement between the City of Decatur, Illinois and MV Transportation, Inc.
