CITY OF DECATUR SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR CULVERT PIPE, FITTINGS, AND FABRICATIONS SPECIAL CONDITIONS: I. Quantities listed in the bid proposal are estimated and used to obtain unit prices. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the estimated quantities and no adjustment will be made to the unit bid price as the result of an increase or decrease in the quantities. 2. Unit prices quoted shall be F.O.B. the City's Municipal Service Center, 2600 North Jasper Street, Decatur, Illinois. 3. Materials shall be delivered to the City within ten (10) calendar days from the date of receipt of the City's order. 4. Deliveries shall be made during the City's regular hours of operation, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for Holidays, unless otherwise approved by the City's Municipal Services Manager. 5. City orders will, as can be practically scheduled, be "full truck load" quantities. In the event of a partial load, the Contractor and the City's Municipal Service Manager may agree to an extended delivery time with no adjustment in the unit price bid for the material ordered. 6. The City will award a contract to the successful bidder to provide culvert pipe, fittings, and fabrications beginning January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022. 7. The contract shall terminate at 12:00 p.m., local time, December 31, 2022. BASIS OF AWARD: The City may award: 1. A single contract to one supplier to supply both types of pipe if the contractor submits the lowest responsive, responsible proposal for both types of pipe; or 2. As two separate contracts in the event that the lowest responsive, responsible proposal for each type of pipe is submitted by different contractors.
