Outdoor storage; screening. <br /> Any outdoor storage of equipment or materials that is visible from the streei, <br /> other than vehicles for sale, must be enclosed by a six-foot high fence, six-foot <br /> high hedge or similar landscape materials, or an appropriate combination <br /> thereof. However, if the property is located within 300 feet of any property <br /> that is zoned R-1 R-2 R-3 R-5 R-6 PMR-1 0-1 B-1 B-2 B-3 and PD or <br /> any non-industrial use in the city limits or neighboring jurisdiction it must be <br /> screened by a six-foot high site break fence, six-foot high hedge or similar <br /> landscape materials, or an appropriate combination thereof Measurements <br /> shall be made from the nearest point on the property/lot lines of each property. <br /> SECTION XXIV.1.6 <br /> Off-Street Parking and Loading Requirements-Loading Space <br /> Requirements <br /> 6. Adequate access required. <br /> Each loading space shall be served by appropriate means of vehicular access to a <br /> street or alley in a manner which will not require backing or other traffic movements <br /> on a public street. A request for alternative compliance may be approved by the <br /> Public Works Department if a practical hardship or difficulty exists that hinders the <br /> ability to design/redesign the development so as to provide adequate access to <br /> loading areas. The Public Works Department will base its decision for alternative <br /> compliance on the effect of the backing maneuver on traffic flow, the frequency and <br /> size of trucks, the use of the road and the structure of the road. <br />
