Call to Order and Determination of a Quorum <br /> The April 7, 2022 meeting of the Decatur City Plan Commission was called to order at 3:00 P.M. <br /> in the City Council Chamber, Third Floor of the Decatur Civic Center, by Chairman Susie Peck <br /> who determined a quorum was present. <br /> Members Present: Bruce Frantz, Pat McDaniel, Matt Naber, Kent Newton, James Schwartz, <br /> Andrew Taylor, Susie Peck <br /> Members Absent: Jason Drake, Maurice Payne,Timothy Wright, <br /> Staff Present: Greg Crowe, Joselyn Stewart, Kasey Wright,Kathleen Wrigley, Deanna <br /> Buck <br /> II. Approval of Minutes of the December 4, 2021 City Plan Commission Meeting <br /> It was moved and seconded(McDaniel/Andrew) to approve the minutes of the March 3, 2022 <br /> meeting of the Decatur City Plan Commission. Motion carried. <br /> Matt Naber arrived at 3:01pm. <br /> III. New Business <br /> A. Case No. 22-03 Petition of PUBLIC SAFETY PROPERTIES FOUNDATION to <br /> rezone property bounded in general by PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING PROPERTY TO <br /> THE SOUTH,WEST ROTARY WAY TO THE WEST,ROTARY PARK TO THE <br /> NORTH AND RED TAIL RUN GOLF COURSE TO THE EAST from R-5 Two-Family <br /> Residence and R-6 Multiple Dwelling to SPD Special Planned Development District <br /> It was moved and seconded(McDaniel/Frantz)to forward Case No.22-03 to the City Council with <br /> a recommendation of approval as set forth in the staff report. <br /> Mr. Crowe discussed staffs recommendation for approval of the petition based on the staff <br /> report distributed to the Plan Commission prior to the meeting (staff report is on file and is <br /> available for reviewing by request). <br /> Upon call of the roll, Commission members Bruce Frantz, Pat McDaniel, Matt Naber, Kent <br /> Newton, James Schwartz, Andrew Taylor, and Susie Peck voted aye. Motion carried. <br />
