EXHIBIT A- SCOPE OF WORK <br /> CITY OF DECATUR <br /> SOUTH WATER TREATMENT PLANT UPGRADES <br /> CITY PROJECT 2022-02 <br /> There are four(4) separate projects. <br /> Prepare plans and specifications, permitting and bidding phase services for the following three <br /> (3)projects to be bid separately. <br /> • Bulk Water Dispensing Station Improvements (Project 1) <br /> • William Street Booster Station Improvements (Project 2) <br /> • Chemical Feed Systems Improvements (Project 3) <br /> In addition to the three design projects above, provide State Revolving Fund Loan Assistance, <br /> including the preparation of a Project Plan for the future Electrical Improvements Project to be <br /> designed in the next phase of work(Project 4). <br /> PROJECT 1 — BULK WATER DISPENSING STATION IMPROVEMENTS <br /> Bulk Water Dispensing Station Improvements Description of Work <br /> • Assist the City in the evaluation and selection of a new operating system. <br /> • Replace coin operated system with credit card operated system. <br /> • Assist the City in developing a means for temporary bulk water dispensing during the <br /> transition to the new system <br /> The Engineering Design Phase Scope of Services for the Bulk Water Dispensing Station <br /> Improvements shall consist of the following tasks: <br /> 1. Review existing background information. Compile and review existing operations <br /> information, record drawings and other information as required to understand bulk <br /> dispensing operations and prepare for the site visit and kickoff meeting. <br /> 2. Research Potential Equipment Vendors. Research credit card vendor type equipment <br /> and software and determine vendors to make presentation to City. <br /> 3. Site Visit/Project Kickoff Meeting. Conduct a site visit and project kickoff meeting at <br /> the water treatment plant with project team members and City personnel to review and <br /> discuss the project scope and collect field data. Items to be discussed at project kickoff <br /> meeting include project goals, schedule, construction sequencing/phasing and keeping <br /> the plant operational for the duration of the project.
