SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> SP-9 SCHEDULE OF WORK <br /> Description: The General Contractor and All Sub-Contractors shall furnish in writing, or <br /> electronic form, a weekly schedule by 12:00 P.M., Thursday, prior to the week being scheduled, so <br /> all media, safety services and other divisions can be notified. All work shall be approved by the <br /> Engineer. ' <br /> Basis of Payment: Cost of the work will not be paid for separately but shall be considered <br /> as included with the various work items involved. <br /> SP-10 SIDEWALKS, CURBS, AND CURB RAMPS <br /> Description: All sidewalks, and curb ramps must be replaced and open to pedestrian , <br /> traffic within 7 calendar days of removal. Any potential trip hazards greater than 1/4" cannot be left <br /> when opening the sidewalk. If needed, temporary ramp material may be used to fill in the gap left , <br /> prior to paving the road. All excavation necessary to set curb and sidewalk at the proper grades to <br /> achieve ADA compliance will be considered included in the corresponding work item. <br /> Basis of Payment: Sidewalk work will be considered included with applicable sidewalk ' <br /> pay items. If temporary ramp material is used, it will be paid for at the contract unit price per <br /> SQUARE YARD for TEMPORARY RAMP. <br /> SP-11 CLASS D PATCHES <br /> Description: The need for patches will be assessed before and after ' <br /> P <br /> milling operations. ' <br /> Basis of Payment: Patches on Jasper Street will be paid for at the contract unit price per <br /> SQUARE YARD for CLASS D PATCHES, of the type and depth specified. <br /> SP-12 UTILITIES TO BE A ' <br /> DJUSTED <br /> Description: This work will consist of adjusting manholes and valve boxes in accordance I <br /> with Sections 602 and 603 of the Standard Specifications and as modified herein. All utility <br /> adjustments excluding ones on streets receiving soil cement treatment (if any) will be completed <br /> after the paving work has been completed. <br /> Removal: The pavement shall be cut and removed to minimum distance of 12" from <br /> around the outside vertical edge of the casting in a circular fashion centered on the casting.
