RESOLUTION NO. f.faLm <br /> __1 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A STIPULATED AGREEMENT CONCERNING <br /> VOLUNTARY VACATION AND PERMANENT CLOSURE OF THE WILLIAM STREET <br /> AT-GRADE CROSSING WITH THE DECATUR& EASTERN ILLINOIS RAILROAD <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur desires to enter into Stipulated Agreement No. 2271 with <br /> the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC), the Decatur & Eastern Illinois Railroad and the Illinois <br /> Department of Transportation(IDOT) concerning the voluntary vacation and permanent closure of <br /> the William Street highway-rail grade crossing of Decatur& Eastern Illinois Railroad's track in <br /> Decatur, Macon County, Illinois (AAR/DOT #154643W, railroad milepost BD-276.13). <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the Agreement presented to the City Council herewith between the City of <br /> Decatur, the Illinois Commerce Commission, the Decatur& Eastern Illinois Railroad, and the <br /> Illinois Department of Transportation concerning the voluntary closure of the William Street <br /> highway-rail grade crossing of the Decatur& Eastern Illinois Railroad's track in Decatur, Illinois, <br /> as Exhibit A and it is hereby, received, placed on file, and approved. <br /> Section 2. That the City of Decatur hereby vacates that portion of William Street, identified <br /> on Exhibit B, as a public roadway. <br /> Section 3.
