LEADER SOV <br /> IntrndI! irtinr <br /> We are pleased offer the following scope of work proposal for the city of Decatur to assist in the <br /> development of 16 of your key leaders. Thank you for the opportunity to work with you and the <br /> city and we look forward to getting to know each of you and being a part of your success as <br /> leadership staff. <br /> SESSION 1 AND 2 <br /> 8:30—11:30 Day 1 AM <br /> Self-Awareness: Use of the DISC and an emotional intelligence assessment to enable <br /> participants to better understand their own personality and interpersonal skills. DISC <br /> assessment is to be completed prior to the workshop. Participants will be expected to <br /> read their report in advance. This morning session will include time to discuss parts of <br /> each person's report and small group discussion about what they learned. <br /> Leadership Styles: At a high level discuss the predominate leadership styles and how your <br /> approach to leadership may be impacted by your personality. (1-hour) <br /> 1:00—4:00 Day 1 <br /> What is Leadership: Understanding the difference between Leadership and Management. <br /> Problem Solving: Apply leadership and management to analytical and creative problem- <br /> solving. <br /> 8:30—11:30 DAY 2 <br /> Icebreaker: (Personal values how they are connected to your DISC style personality and <br /> how you see leadership) <br /> Empowerment: Workshop include ways to empower others via delegation and <br /> decentralized decision-making <br /> 1:00—4:00 DAY 2 PM <br /> Accountability: Consider why we tend to not hold others accountable and how our <br /> personalities may account for our approach to accountability.
