Otrue_ screen, Details matter.
The myTruescreen.com extranet is a private website available only to authorized users. We utilize an industry-
leading Risk-Based Authentication system that examines the credentials a user presents(username, password,
PIN, etc.)as well as the user's usage patterns when determining if system access will be granted. If the system
detects any suspicious variations in the user's usage patterns, or if the user is attempting to sign in from a
computer device that we do not recognize, the user must first answer security questions before being allowed
to proceed.
Our network perimeter is protected and monitored using industry-leading firewall and routing technology, and
we regularly test our perimeter security through scans and penetration tests performed by Verizon Cybertrust
Security. We restrict access to our network from the Internet to only allow traffic to defined addresses and
ports based on the specific requirements of each device and system.
Our Security Management Program
Defense of systems and data requires continual support, monitoring, and administration, which we achieve
through processes and procedures designed to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our
systems. That includes our corporate security policy, which is designed to protect all aspects of our facilities
and network resources; our systems monitoring, attack sensing, and log auditing functions; and vulnerability
assessments that are performed regularly, both internally and externally.
System Access Control
The myTruescreen.com client portal is structured to allow multiple, simultaneous user access by an unlimited
number of client users. The system requires a complex password that includes both letters and numbers, and
must be changed periodically.
Each user account is linked directly to the client they represent. Access rights for an organization's data, and
for individuals and groups within that organization,are established/verified on a per-request basis.Truescreen
can establish user profiles and/or access hierarchies based on an array of user information, including name,
department and specific permissions. All rights for viewing, inserting, updating or deleting of data are
controlled through a multi-tiered, secure access hierarchy linking directly to that user's access designation.
Designations can range from requester-only access to full enterprise-wide access and everything in between.
Internally,we maintain these relationships by utilizing an open architecture approach of configuring data that
defines what and how users access it.
User permissions are established based on two criteria: access and functionality. Report access determines
what reports are visible to a particular user in the system. Functionality access determines what tools are
available to the user. In both cases, access can be very narrow or very broad; it is entirely up to the client to
decide what permissions to grant and to whom. Report access and functionality access can also be combined
to create a variety of permission options. The two factors go hand-in-hand—the client decides what reports it
wants an individual user to see and which tools they can access. Those tools can then be used against that
designated set of reports.
Empowered by Vertical Screen.
