As <br /> baby boomers begin to age, there is a need to keep <br /> this population active, independent, and in their <br /> homes longer to avoid overwhelming our care <br /> facilities and hospital systems Keeping seniors <br /> active,engaged,and preventing social isolation have <br /> been identified as key objectives for the Park and Since relocating programs offered by the Decatur <br /> Recreation professionals by the National Recreation Park District to Scovill Park West in early 2018, <br /> and Parks Association seniors have embraced Scovill as their new home. <br /> There has been a thought in the community for Senior programming is also the fastest growing <br /> several years that creating a one-stop shop for program area for the Decatur Park District based <br /> seniors in Macon County would greatly benefit our on attendance numbers.
