Exhibit A <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> CITY OF DECATUR <br /> CHEMICAL FEED & BULK WATER DISPENSING SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS <br /> CONSTRUCTION PHASE ENGINEERING <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The Scope of Services for the City of Decatur Water Treatment Plant Chemical Feed System <br /> Improvements and Bulk Water Dispensing System Improvements Construction Phase Services <br /> shall consist of the following tasks. <br /> 1. Pre-Construction Meeting. Attend pre-construction meeting to discuss project <br /> scope, communication requirements, procedures, schedule, etc. <br /> 2. Shop Drawing Review. Review submittals (and potential resubmittals)as required for <br /> construction. Estimated 80 submittals. <br /> 3. Request for Information (RFI) and Questions from the Field. Respond to <br /> contractor and owner-initiated questions during construction. Forms and <br /> documentation completed by City of Decatur staff. <br /> 4. Review Pay Applications. Assist owner in review of pay applications. <br /> 5. Special Discipline Site Visits. Review and respond to owner or contractor-initiated <br /> requests for electrical, mechanical and process mechanical site visits during <br /> construction. This is separate from a punch list inspection. <br /> • Electrical — Six (6) site visits <br /> • HVAC —Two (2) site visits <br /> • Process Mechanical — Five (5) site visits <br /> • Structural —Two (2) site visits <br /> 6. Startup Services. After the construction is substantially complete and ready to be <br /> brought online and made operational, visit the project site to assist the City in the <br /> startup and operation of the new improvements. <br /> • Process Mechanical —Three (3) site visits <br /> • HVAC — One (1) site visit <br /> • Electrical — Four (4) site visits <br /> 7. Prepare Punch List. Upon substantial completion, conduct a site visit to develop a <br /> punch list of outstanding items to be completed by the Contractor in order for the <br /> construction contract to be finalized. <br /> • Electrical — Two (2) site visits <br /> • HVAC —One (1) site visit <br /> • Process Mechanical — One (1) site visit <br /> • Structural — One (1) site visit <br /> Last Revised: 2/03/2022 <br />
