RESOLUTION NO. 9Cq(4.3'�0 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PROFESSIONAL <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR THE CITY OF DECATUR SAFE <br /> STREETS AND ROADS FOR ALL COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY ACTION <br /> PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Decatur, Illinois, an Illinois municipal corporation and body <br /> politic ("City") is a unit of local government pursuant to Article VII, Section 6 of the Illinois <br /> Constitution of 1970; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City desires a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan for the Federal <br /> Highways Administration's Safe Streets and Roads For All Program; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City finds that this agreement with Guidepost provides the desired <br /> outcomes for this project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Decatur as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 1. That the agreement for professional services for the Safe Streets and Roads <br /> for All Comprehensive Safety Action Plan with Guidepost, as attached, and the same is hereby, <br /> received,placed on file, and approved. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager and the City Clerk of the City of Decatur be, and they <br /> are hereby, authorized and directed to execute, seal and attest an Agreement between the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois and Guidepost, for the services of a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan, as <br /> specified in their proposal. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of November 2024. <br /> �+ 1 <br /> ATTEST: or, Julie Moore Wolfe <br /> Kim Althoff, City Clerk <br />
