RESOLUTION NO. R2024 3(DS- <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT <br /> -ANDREW R. WEATHERFORD AND JOSIE D.LUEDKE- <br /> -CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS- <br /> 412 S. FRANKLIN STREET <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, an Illinois municipal corporation and <br /> body politic ("City") is a unit of local government pursuant to Article VII, Section 6 of the Illinois <br /> Constitution of 1970; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase the property located at 412 S. Franklin Street <br /> per the Real Estate Purchase Agreement; and, <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the Real Estate Purchase Agreement attached hereto and marked Exhibit <br /> A, between Andrew R. Weatherford and Josie D. Luedke,412 S. Franklin Street, Decatur, <br /> Illinois and the City, shall be executed and approved. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager shall be authorized to purchase 412 S. Franklin Street, <br /> Decatur, Illinois as per the terms and conditions set forth in the Real Estate Purchase Agreement. <br /> Section 3. That the City Manager or designee shall be authorized to negotiate terms and <br /> conditions and enter into a lease of the property. <br /> Section 4. That the City Manager and City Clerk or designees be, and they are hereby, <br /> authorized and directed to sign any necessary instruments to acquire this property on behalf of <br /> the City.
