<br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF DECATUR TO PROVIDE AN
<br /> INTERFUND CASH ADVANCE TO CERTAIN FUNDS TO AFFECT A POSITIVE
<br /> CASH POSITION AS OF THE CLOSE OF BUSINESS AS OF DECEMBER 31,2024
<br /> WHEREAS, Funds of the City must have monies in an amount to affect a positive cash
<br /> position at the close of business as of December 31, 2024, for the purpose of defraying incurred
<br /> expenditures during the fiscal period; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, certain city funds may be in a position due to unforeseen circumstances to
<br /> not have a positive cash position as of December 31, 2024, it is necessary for the City of Decatur
<br /> to provide an interf ind cash advance to these certain funds.
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,
<br /> ILLINOIS:
<br /> Section 1. That an Interfund Cash Advance up to $1,500,000 to affect a positive cash
<br /> position at the close of business as of December 31, 2024, to the Community Revitalization Fund
<br /> of the City of Decatur, Illinois,be, and the same is hereby,received,placed on file, and
<br /> approved.
<br /> Section 2. That an Interfund Cash Advance up to $70,000 to affect a positive cash
<br /> position at the close of business as of December 31, 2024, to the Community Grants Fund of the
<br /> City of Decatur, Illinois,be, and the same is hereby, received,placed on file, and approved.
<br /> Section 3. That an Interfund Cash Advance up to $10,000 to affect a positive cash
<br /> position at the close of business as of December 31, 2024, to the HOME Program Fund of the
<br /> City of Decatur, Illinois,be, and the same is hereby, received,placed on file, and approved.
<br /> Section 4. That an Interfund Cash Advance up to $5,500,000 to affect a positive cash
<br /> position at the close of business as of December 31, 2024, to the Public Transit Fund of the City
<br /> of Decatur, Illinois,be, and the same is hereby, received,placed on file, and approved.
<br /> Section 5. That an Interf ind Cash Advance up to $300,000 to affect a positive cash
<br /> position at the close of business as of December 31, 2024, to the Grants Fund of the City of
<br /> Decatur, Illinois,be, and the same is hereby, received,placed on file, and approved.
<br /> Section 6. That an Interfund Cash Advance up to $300,000 to affect a positive cash
<br /> position at the close of business as of December 31, 2024, to the Central TIF Fund of the City of
<br /> Decatur, Illinois,be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file, and approved.
<br /> Section 7. That an Interfund Cash Advance up to $150,000 to affect a positive cash
<br /> position at the close of business as of December 31, 2024, to the Community Development
<br /> Block Grant(CDBG)Fund of the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby,received,
<br /> placed on file, and approved.
<br /> Section 8. That the City Treasurer is hereby, authorized and directed to affect said
<br /> interfund cash advances, as necessary, to affect a positive cash position as of December 31,
