ORDINANCE NO. 2026— (0 <br /> BUDGET AMENDMENT ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL <br /> MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES FOR <br /> CERTAIN FUNDS OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS FOR THE <br /> FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2026 <br /> DECATUR PUBLIC LIBRARY <br /> WHEREAS, on November 17, 2025, City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget <br /> and Appropriation Ordinance 2025-75 for the purpose of defraying the expenses of several <br /> departments and funds of the City of Decatur for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026 and <br /> ending December 31, 2026. <br /> WHEREAS,it is now necessary to amend the budget and appropriate additional funds for <br /> operational expenditures for the City to affect provision of services to its citizens which were not <br /> anticipated at the time the City Council adopted Ordinance 2025-75. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS,AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1, The following amounts are hereby appropriated in fiscal year ending <br /> December 31, 2026 and set apart within the following designated funds for expenditures as <br /> follows: <br /> Fund $ Amount <br /> Capital Project Fund 45 Project L2304 63,700 <br /> Total 63,700 <br /> SECTION 2.
