Zientara, City Treasurer& Interim Finance Officer <br /> SUBJECT: Budget Amendment Ordinance Appropriating Additional Monies for the Purpose of <br /> Defraying the Expenses for Certain Funds of the City of Decatur, Illinois for the <br /> Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2026 <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: <br /> City Administration recommends City Council approval of the attached Ordinance. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> As a companion item to Economic&Community Development Department resolution presented to <br /> the council in council agenda item entitled: <br /> Resolution Authorizing a Contract Change Order with E.L. Pruitt Company for Chiller Replacement <br /> at the Decatur Public Library, <br /> It is necessary for the council to adopt Budget Ordinance Number 2, where such budget <br /> amendment and appropriation ordinance will provide city staff with the authority to affect <br /> expenditure of the monies identified. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: <br /> There are no known objections to this resolution request. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: <br /> No input from other sources. <br /> STAFF REFERENCES: <br /> Melissa Hon, City Manager <br /> Gregg D.
