TAYLORVILLE ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br /> ' CITY PROJECT 2024-16 <br /> t Conference Call <br /> 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2026. <br /> ' I. Introductions <br /> Chad Larimore provided introductions and all participants on the phone stated their <br /> name and representative company. <br /> II. Project Review <br /> The proposed improvement consists of performing approximately 4,785 feet (Alt 1: 2,338 <br /> feet and Alt 2: 2,044 feet) of new 6", 8", and 12" water main installation at various <br /> locations throughout the City (S Taylorville Rd, S Fairview Ave, W Legion Dr, Rock Dr, <br /> ' Granite Rd and S Spring Ln). The work also includes testing, pavement removal and <br /> replacement, clearing and grubbing, mobilization, traffic control and appurtenant work. <br /> ' III. Project Specific Items <br /> Chad Larimore provided the following verbiage pertaining to the project. He stated that <br /> nothing stated during the meeting was part of the bid documents unless it was provided in <br /> written form to the Contractor either in the Bid Documents, or via addendum. <br /> 1. Bidders should check Decatur Blueprint's website before submitting a bid to make sure <br /> ' there are no addenda's missing. Only contractors on Decatur Blueprint's plan holder list <br /> will get updates on addenda's. You have to purchase the plans to get on their list. Simply <br /> ' downloading a set of plans from the website does not put you on the bidders list. <br /> 2. There is a base bid, as well as 2 alternate bids. The City will take all bids into <br /> ' consideration when awarding the project. <br /> 3. Bids are due 104kam Ma_s 4, 2026 3:00 pm March 5, 2026. <br /> 4. All questions must be submitted in writing. <br /> 5. Questions will not be answered after 5:00pm February 25, 2026. <br /> 6. Tentative council approval March 16, 2026. <br /> 7. Pre-Construction Mtg&Notice to Proceed—Late March. <br /> ' 8. Final Completion Date is June 1, 2027. <br /> 9. Liquidated Damages per the schedule within the specifications. <br />
