Tire Lease Agreement IFB TR 2025-01 • Performing necessary tire repairs • Mounting and demounting tires • Providing secure storage space for tires and wheels All such services shall be performed at no cost to Bridgestone. The City shall permit Bridgestone representatives to inspect and inventory tires and wheels during normal business hours. Upon request,the City shall provide the location of all vehicles,tires, and spare inventory. If Bridgestone performs any services,the scope, location,and cost of such services shall be defined in a written addendum to this Agreement. 5. PURCHASE OF VEHICLES.Vehicles acquired by the City during the term of this Agreement shall be purchased without tires, unless included within the five percent(5%)testing allowance. The City shall provide Bridgestone with at least thirty(30)days' advance notice of delivery dates so Bridgestone may supply the appropriate tires to the manufacturer or designated delivery location. The City shall be responsible for any loss,theft,or damage to Bridgestone-provided tires while in the possession of the manufacturer or during delivery. If vehicles are driven instead of shipped,the City shall pay for tire usage at the applicable billing rate. 6.LEASED VEHICLES. If the City operates vehicles not owned by it ("Leased Vehicles"), the following shall apply: • The City shall notify Bridgestone of such arrangements • Leased Vehicles shall be provided without tires unless included in the testing allowance • The City shall ensure Bridgestone retains ownership and possession rights to all tires The City shall be responsible for the cost of any lost, stolen,or damaged tires on Leased Vehicles in accordance with Section 11. 7. SALE OR DISPOSITION OF VEHICLE.The City shall notify Bridgestone prior to the sale or disposal of any vehicles equipped with Bridgestone tires. Unless otherwise directed by Bridgestone,the City shall: • Purchase the remaining usable mileage in each tire; and • Purchase any unusable inventory that cannot be redeployed within the fleet Bridgestone may require removal of serviceable tires from vehicles inactive for more than ninety(90) days and return them to inventory. All payments under this section shall be calculated and made in accordance with Section 11. 8. LOSS OF TIRES. Normal damage, including wear,cuts, road hazards, brake heat,or misalignment, is included in the tire mileage rate. The City shall maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications to minimize abnormal wear. 3
