WM— <br /> Task 3.4–Unified Development Ordinance Adoption <br /> This task guides the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO)through the formal adoption process and prepares <br /> the final ordinance for implementation. The Project team will support the City during Planning Commission and <br /> City Council review by presenting ordinance recommendations, responding to comments, preparing final <br /> revisions, and ensuring consistency with the Comprehensive Plan and applicable state enabling legislation. <br /> Following adoption,the ordinance will be professionally formatted and finalized for publication and administration. <br /> The completed UDO will provide the City with a modern, user-friendly regulatory framework that supports <br /> community goals, promotes high-quality development, and streamlines development review procedures. <br /> Deliverables <br /> • Public Hearing (City Plan Commission) <br /> • Final Adoption (City Council) <br /> • Final Document Format(Word) <br /> Task 3.5–Training Session and Manual <br /> This task prepares City staff, appointed officials, and decision-makers for the successful administration and <br /> implementation of the newly adopted Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). The Project team will develop a <br /> comprehensive training manual that explains the organization, purpose, procedures, development standards, and <br /> administrative requirements of the ordinance. In addition, the Project team will conduct a training session <br /> designed to familiarize users with the new regulatory framework, review key changes from the previous <br /> ordinances, and provide practical guidance on ordinance interpretation and application.
