RESOLUTION NO. R2026-'1 y 9 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A BUS STOP SERVICE <br /> AGREEMENT WITH FLIXBUS,INC. <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Decatur, Illinois owns property located at 353 E. William Street, <br /> Decatur, Illinois; and <br /> WHEREAS, FlixBus, Inc. has requested permission to utilize the City-owned property as <br /> a designated intercity bus stop;and, <br /> WHEREAS, a Service Agreement for Bus Stop has been negotiated to establish the terms <br /> and conditions governing such use, including compensation to the City, insurance requirements, <br /> and indemnification provisions; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the agreement allows for limited use of the property as a bus stop only and <br /> expressly excludes ticket sales, package handling, or other commercial activities unless <br /> separately authorized by the City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, approval of the agreement supports regional transportation connectivity <br /> while protecting the City's operational and financial interests. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1.
