EXHIBIT A <br /> LAKE DECATUR WATERSHED FARMLAND CONSERVATION PROGRAM <br /> PROTECTION PROGRAM AGREEMENT <br /> In consideration of the foregoing recitals,the mutual covenants and agreements hereinafter <br /> set forth,and for good and valuable consideration,the receipt, sufficiency and adequacy of which <br /> are hereby acknowledged, this Agreement("Agreement") is entered into by and between Rita Jo <br /> Randol ("Owner")and the City of Decatur,Illinois,an Illinois municipal corporation("City"). <br /> The parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Owner agrees to participate in City's Lake Decatur Watershed Protection("Program")for <br /> soil erosion control, nutrient management and water quality improvements for property they own <br /> located in Macon County,Illinois more particularly described as <br /> A tract of land situated in the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section 11, Township 15 <br /> North, Range 2 East of the Third Principal Meridian, Macon County, Illinois, the boundary <br /> of which is described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the iron pin monument at the Northwest Corner of said Section 11,proceed on <br /> the West line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 11, on a local bearing South 00 <br /> degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East, 1340.26 feet to an iron pin monument; thence South <br /> 89 degrees 43 minutes 01 seconds East, 2673.46 feet to the iron pin monument on the East <br /> line of said Northwest Quarter; thence on said East line North 00 degrees 04 minutes 53 <br /> seconds West, 1330.54 feet to the stone monument at the Northeast Corner of the <br /> Northwest Quarter of said Section 11; thence on the North line of said Northwest Quarter <br /> North 89 degrees 30 minutes 29 seconds West 2671.64 feet to the point of beginning, <br /> subject to the rights of the public in and to that portion off of the West side thereof as used <br /> for the public road purposes, as shown in Survey dated May 16, 1995 and revised May 23, <br /> 1995 by Richard L.
