RESOLUTION NO. 82015-78 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS <br /> FOR RESTORATION OF STREETS AND HIGHWAYS <br /> BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE <br /> CITY PROJECT 2015-08 <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of$1,300,000 of Motor Fuel Tax <br /> funds for the purpose of resurfacing streets and highways under the applicable provisions of the <br /> Illinois Highway Code. <br /> Section 2. That only those streets, highways; and operations as listed and described as <br /> part of the City's Street Restoration Project, are eligible for Motor Fuel Tax funds and shall be <br /> designated as Section 15-00508-00-FP. <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as <br /> given above, submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, <br /> a certified statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for <br /> this period; and <br /> Section 4.
