a. Online Ticket Payment-Makes it convenient for parking patrons to pay citations. This
should help improve the collection rate and reduce staff time demands at the teller
windows.
b. Online Appeals—Improves customer service for the appeal process and makes a
permanent written record of the appeal. This should help reduce staff demands at the
teller windows and provide a higher level of service for parking patrons.
c. Online Parking Account—Parking permit holders can update their own contact
information reducing staff time for updating contact records.
d. Online Parking Permit Sales—Automates parking permit sales for downtown employee
and parking garage parking permit customer service. This feature enables customers to
automatically pay monthly parking fees on-line.
e. Online Waitlists -Once available permits sell out, allow customers to sign up for a
waitlist to receive a permit once space becomes available. Waitlists are now maintained
manually.
f. Conference and Convention Event Parking Permits—Enables Downtown conference
and convention event organizers to purchase and print bar-coded permits online prior to
the event.
T2.Systems software is cloud based so it does not put additional burdens on the City's information
technology hardware. The products are automatically updated as necessary without any actions
required by City staff.
POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: There are no known objections to this resolution.
INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None.
SCHEDULE: Implementation is planned to begin about mid-June with the services going live
scheduled for late September 2015.
BUDGET IMPLICATIONS: The purchase of this software is funded in the Public Works
Department budget.
STAFF REFERENCE: Richard Marley, Publics Works Director will be in attendance at the City
Council meeting to answer questions on this item.
This memorandum was prepared by Richard Marley.
Attach: 2
