RESOLUTION NO. 82014-148 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A REVISION TO THE AGREEMENT <br /> WITH THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> FOR MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br /> BOYD ROAD/ILLINOIS ROUTE 48 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur has entered into an Agreement with the State of Illinois <br /> for reimbursement of maintenance and energy costs of traffic signals located on state routes. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the Revision to the Agreement authorizing the reimbursement for the <br /> maintenance of traffic signals on state routes, presented to the City Council herewith between <br /> the City of Decatur and the State of Illinois, acting through the Illinois Department of <br /> Transportation be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2. That the cost of energy and maintenance of traffic signals, and/or other traffic <br /> control devices shall be shared in proportion to the number of approaches maintained by each <br /> unit of government as well as engineering costs for any approved coordination and timing <br /> studies. <br /> Section 3. That the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to execute said Revision to the Agreement between the City of Decatur, Illinois and <br /> State of Illinois. <br /> Section 4.
