Exhibit A
d. Video name will be the same as the GIS pipe ID number.
3. All recorded video will be in high-resolution, MPEG digital format compatible with
the current City of Decatur Engineering Software. The manhole video acquisition
will be a supplement to the standard NASSCO manhole component and
inspection digital data and will be used to supplement and validate observations
recorded in the MACP-compliant ESRI Geodatabase. This data will assist in
the evaluation of the individual sewer manholes and will become a part of the
manhole inspection services final report. All inspection crews are NASSCO
PACP/MRCP Certified
4. All video collected during the investigation will be backed-up daily and
deliverable to the City of Decatur's mainframe which will be scheduled and
performed regularly(to be determined).
MANHOLE INVESTIGATION, INSPECTION,AND ASSESSMENT
1. A NASSCO-compliant investigation will gather ail necessary MACP data as
outlined by the City RFP. This data will be used to evaluate each manhole for
structural integrity, inflowfinfiltration problems, flow characteristics and
environmental condition. All necessary dimensions will be gathered.
2. The manhole inspection shall include:
a. All NASSCO MACP Manhole Component Fields as per the City of Decatur
RFP: Sanitary Sewer Inspection Services outlined in Attachment 1..
b. All NASSCO MACP Manhole Inspection Fields as per the City of Decatur
RFP: Sanitary Sewer Inspection Services outlined in Attachment 1.
c. All NASSCO PACP Pipe Inspection Fields as per the City of Decatur RFP:
Sanitary Sewer inspection Services outlined in Attachment 1.
3. Entry of NASSCO MACP/PACP data directly into the ESRI Geodatabase
GIS manhole and pipe entities themselves ensures that the inherent attribute
data which belongs to those features is permanently associated with them.
Thus, any manholes and pipes encountered with incorrect or missing ID numbers
will always have the correct data associated with them. This is a data quality
assurance and quality control measure.
4. Use of a NASSCO-compliant Geodatabase enforces attribute integrity through
several attribute database domains. Therefore, all data entered into the model
follows this policy enforcement and thus, entry of non NASSCO MACP/PACP
compliant data is impossible. All attribute fields in the NASSCO model have
attribute domains enforced and allow the NASSCO certified professional to enter
only NASSGO-compliant data.
-3r A-2
