ORDINANCE NO. 2015-16 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 29 - <br /> DELAYING INCREASES IN MINIMUM FINES <br /> FOR ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUDICATION OF OFFENSES <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Council adopted Chapter 29 of the City Code in <br /> 2011 to allow for the administrative adjudication of City Code violations; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 29, Section 11(F) states: "Effective May 1, 2013, and every <br /> two (2) years thereafter on May 1, the minimum fine set forth in Table 29-1 shall be <br /> increased automatically by the amount of Ten Dollars ($10) unless the City Council, by <br /> ordinance, delays the effective date of such increase."; and, <br /> WHEREAS, fine increases are not necessary at this time. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1.
