Contractors shall provide evidence of meeting the City's minority participation goals as directed <br /> and required by the Public Works Director or provide evidence that the contractor has made a <br /> good-faith effort to meet the goals. Good faith efforts are defined within the ordinance. <br /> Administration of this ordinance shall rest with the Public Works Director, or designee, who shall <br /> administer and enforce this article, and monitor contractors over contract duration to ensure <br /> compliance with this article. <br /> Penalties shall exist if a contractor fails to meet the City's minority participation goals and fails to <br /> provide evidence of a good faith effort to meet such goals. <br /> The ordinance includes language to define requests for wavier of the City's minority participation <br /> goals, including evidence of good faith efforts to secure participation by MBE and minority <br /> workers. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: <br /> There are no known objections to this ordinance request. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: <br /> No input from other sources. <br /> STAFF REFERENCES: <br /> Gregg D.
