ORDINANCE NO. 2014-57 <br /> ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTION <br /> - 21St STREET AND EAST WHITMER STREET - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, the driver of a vehicle <br /> on East Whitmer Street approaching 21 st Street from the east and west shall stop and yield the right- <br /> of-way to vehicles on 21 st Street which have entered the intersection of said street or which are <br /> approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said driver having so stopped <br /> and yielded the right-of-way may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs, <br /> Section 2.
