Use of DCDF, Inc. monies to assist in certain demolition initiative expenses is within the <br /> charter and purpose of DCDF. The DCDF Board agreed with City Administration and <br /> approved the use of up to $100,000 to assist in the demolition of abando ed and blighted <br /> property in the City of Decatur. As part of the approval by the DCDF B ard, demolitions <br /> utilizing DCDF funding will be made upon approval by the president o DCDF with the <br /> goal being to maximize the number of dilapidated homes that can be Impacted by this <br /> funding and, possibly, spur future development. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: <br /> There are no known objections to this ordinance request. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: <br /> The DCDF, Inc.
