I Section Three Continued ' I Purpose I Please state the purpose of the proposed rezoning. The petitioner intends to apply for a Class G Liquor License for the Restaurant which requires the change to B-2 zoning from B-1. SECTION FOUR: JUSTIFICATION The petitionersubmits to the City Plan Commission and City Council the followin acts additionales may be attached): The Petitioner currently owns and operates the Wild Dog Saloon across the si reet from the South Side Grill Restaurant. The Petitioner has made significant improvements to t is property and built a successful business. The Petitioner intends to purchase, improve, and rebrar d the Restaurant property in a similar manner to his existing business. The Petitioner believes tie ability to serve adult beverages to patrons of the Restaurant will be important to its long term succg600. A Rezoning of the property to B-2 is needed to allow the Liquor License. The Petitioner does no believe the rezoning will alter the essential character of the locality. The Petitioner plans to improv the property and operate a sustainable Restaurant business. I II SECTION FIVE: CERTIFICATION To be placed on the agenda of the regular meeting on the first Thursday of the month at 3:00 PM in the City Council Chambers, petition must be received on the first Thursday of the preceding month. Failure of the petitioner or the petitioner's representative to attend the Plan Commission hearing may result in items being tabled. Said sign will be removed within 15 days of action by City Council. 3. In the event a petition for rezoning is denied by the Council,another petition for a change to the samestrict shall not be filed within a period of one year from the date of denial, except upon the initiation of the City Council or the City Plan Commission after showing a change of circumstances which would warrant a renewal.
