ORDINANCE NO. 2014-14 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> CHAPTER 38 — STORMWATER ORDINANCE <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT`( OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Chapter 38 of the City Code of the City of Decatur be, and the <br /> same is hereby, further amended and modified by inserting the following definitions in <br /> Section 2. Definitions, and re-designating existing definitions accordingly: <br /> (c) "Base Fee" means a fee incurred by each parcel in the City of <br /> Decatur for the benefit of the stormwater system. <br /> (1) "City" means the City of Decatur, a municipal corporation organized <br /> under the laws of the State of Illinois. <br /> (g) "Combined Sewer"means a sewer designed to re�eive or receiving <br /> both wastewater and storm or surface water. <br /> (1) "Credit means a conditional reduction in thl amount of a <br /> stormwater service charge to an individual prope y based upon: a) <br /> a reduction in stormwater runoff from said prope y; b) a reduction <br /> in suspended solids leaving the property; or c) imp ementation of an <br /> approved stormwater education program in acc rdance with the <br /> provisions of this Chapter and the "City of De atur Stormwater <br /> Credit Regulations". <br />
