The subject property contains the Woodmound Plaza Shopping Center and approximately 4.2 <br /> acres. <br /> 2. The original B-3 Planned Shopping Center District was approved by the ity Council in June <br /> 1978 and has had amendments since that time. <br /> 3. On June 3, 2013 the City Council voted 6-1 to approve the B-3 Plann d Shopping Center <br /> District. The petitioner proposed to construct an enclosed outdoor patio ( 4' x 15.0'); a 16' x <br /> 10' building expansion for a vestibule; a 13' x 6' building expansion where the drive thru <br /> would be relocated; and a storage building (20' x 18'). Their request also included a <br /> reduction in spaces from ten (10) to five (5) stacking spaces for a drive thru window. Ten <br /> stacking spaces are required for a restaurant. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> 1. The petitioner proposes to amend the approved B-3 Planned Shopping Center District in <br /> order to expand the existing building along the east side. The building expansion would be a <br /> total of 837.5 square feet (33.5' x 25') addition. <br /> 2. The owners are requesting the addition in order to expand their business and provide <br /> additional customer area and stage for a band. <br />
