A. Except as set forth in Section 7(B), the existing and operable well must be <br /> abandoned in accordance with all applicable statutes, codes, ordinances and other <br /> laws and requirements of the State of Illinois, City of Decatur end Macon County. <br /> B. Existing and operable wells may be used solely for irrigktion purposes only <br /> and not for potable water. The existing and operable well must be disconnected <br /> from any structure which will be supplied water by a City of Decatur water main. <br /> All work must be done in accordance with all applicable statutes, codes, <br /> ordinances and other laws and requirements of the State pf Illinois, City of <br /> Decatur and Macon County. <br /> 8. PENALTY. Any person, firm or corporation who violates any of the provisions of <br /> this Chapter shall be fined not less than One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00 nor more than Five <br /> Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense and each day upon which a ('violation occurs or <br /> continues shall constitute a separate offense.
