Excerpts from Plan Commission Minutes of January 3,2013 continued:
This property is behind the lots on 1St Drive and South Franklin Street. These properties have a
steep incline and are heavily populated with trees. The property is unusable and this will give
the property owners an opportunity to purchase the property behind their hom s.
Mr. Jack Myatt asked if any of the homeowners have come forward stating they would like to
purchase the property. Mr. Cochran said that all the property owners have leen contacted and
are aware they have the opportunity to purchase this property.
Mr. Frantz asked if an appraisal has been done on the property. Mr. Cochran said yes.
There were no objectors present.
It was moved and seconded (Myatt/Dial) to forward Calendar No. 13-03 to th City Council with
recommendation for approval as submitted. Motion carried 8-0-1 with Mr. Bill Clevenger
abstaining from the vote.
