Design Development/Selection of Furniture and Furniture Finishes: 1. Determine acceptable manufacturers for furniture 2. Research and interpret advantages/disadvantages of each 3. Propose preliminary layouts of furniture 4. Generate layouts and preliminary specifications 5. Provide preliminary cost estimate 6. Prepare preliminary fabric and color selections for furniture 7. Meetings (2) Contract Documents for Furniture.- 1. urniture:1. Finalize furniture plans 2. Prepare final plans and specifications for bidding furniture 3. Verify cost estimate 4. Furnish bid documents to plan room for bidder pick-up 5. Assist Owner with award of contract 6. Review shop drawings,color and finish samples 7. Coordinate installation drawings with awarded dealership 8. Meetings (1) Construction Observation/Furniture Punch List: 1. (1) Site visit during furniture installation of furniture by dealer(s). 2. Furniture Punch List 3. Final walk through with Owner to review Punch List CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES Provide limited architectural services and mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil engineering services to: 1. Review construction submittals of Design-Builder for the limited purpose of checking for conformance with the Criteria Drawings. Review of such submittals is not for the purpose of determining t e accuracy and completeness of other information such as dimensions, quantities, and installation or performance of equipment or systems, which are the Design Build Entity's responsibility. 2. Review internal Design Build Entity requests for information for conformance with the requirements of the Criteria Drawings. 3. Provide input regarding evaluation of change requests,value engineering or other proposals and unforeseen conditions or questions by the Design-Builder based on the requirements of the Criteria Drawings. 4. Participate in partnering or problem solving sessions as required. 5. Architectural services to attend on-site meetings and make site visits on a regular basis to observe the construction progress—two (2) per month. 6. Represent the City of Decatur at monthly construction meetings and report to City Council on a regular basis— one (1) per month and meeting shall coincide with on-site meetings defined above.', 7. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil engineering site visits as requested by the ICity. 8. Dewberry shall not have involvement with the preparation or processing of Change(Orders, site visits to conduct punch lists or site visits to determine substantial completion and shall not be responsible for compiling owner manuals or written warranties. 9. Dewberry shall not have control over, charge of, or responsibility for the construction means, methods, techniques,sequences or procedures, or for safety precautions and programs in connection with the work, nor shall Dewberry be responsible for the Design Build Entity's failure to perform the work in accordance with the requirements of the construction documents.
