Design Development/Selection of Furniture and Furniture Finishes: <br /> 1. Determine acceptable manufacturers for furniture <br /> 2. Research and interpret advantages/disadvantages of each <br /> 3. Propose preliminary layouts of furniture <br /> 4. Generate layouts and preliminary specifications <br /> 5. Provide preliminary cost estimate <br /> 6. Prepare preliminary fabric and color selections for furniture <br /> 7. Meetings (2) <br /> Contract Documents for Furniture.- <br /> 1. <br /> urniture:1. Finalize furniture plans <br /> 2. Prepare final plans and specifications for bidding furniture <br /> 3. Verify cost estimate <br /> 4. Furnish bid documents to plan room for bidder pick-up <br /> 5. Assist Owner with award of contract <br /> 6. Review shop drawings,color and finish samples <br /> 7. Coordinate installation drawings with awarded dealership <br /> 8. Meetings (1) <br /> Construction Observation/Furniture Punch List: <br /> 1. (1) Site visit during furniture installation of furniture by dealer(s). <br /> 2. Furniture Punch List <br /> 3. Final walk through with Owner to review Punch List <br /> CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES <br /> Provide limited architectural services and mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil engineering services to: <br /> 1. Review construction submittals of Design-Builder for the limited purpose of checking for conformance with the <br /> Criteria Drawings. Review of such submittals is not for the purpose of determining t e accuracy and completeness <br /> of other information such as dimensions, quantities, and installation or performance of equipment or systems, <br /> which are the Design Build Entity's responsibility. <br /> 2. Review internal Design Build Entity requests for information for conformance with the requirements of the Criteria <br /> Drawings. <br /> 3. Provide input regarding evaluation of change requests,value engineering or other proposals and unforeseen <br /> conditions or questions by the Design-Builder based on the requirements of the Criteria Drawings. <br /> 4. Participate in partnering or problem solving sessions as required. <br /> 5. Architectural services to attend on-site meetings and make site visits on a regular basis to observe the <br /> construction progress—two (2) per month. <br /> 6. Represent the City of Decatur at monthly construction meetings and report to City Council on a regular basis— <br /> one (1) per month and meeting shall coincide with on-site meetings defined above.', <br /> 7. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil engineering site visits as requested by the ICity. <br /> 8. Dewberry shall not have involvement with the preparation or processing of Change(Orders, site visits to conduct <br /> punch lists or site visits to determine substantial completion and shall not be responsible for compiling owner <br /> manuals or written warranties. <br /> 9. Dewberry shall not have control over, charge of, or responsibility for the construction means, methods, <br /> techniques,sequences or procedures, or for safety precautions and programs in connection with the work, nor <br /> shall Dewberry be responsible for the Design Build Entity's failure to perform the work in accordance with the <br /> requirements of the construction documents. <br />
