RESOLUTION NO. 82013-68 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING <br /> THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR A SEGMENT OF <br /> LAKE SHORE DRIVE SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT—DIVISION B <br /> CITY PROJECT 2012-06 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the tabulation of bids received for City Project 2012-06, Lake Shore Drive <br /> Sewer Rehabilitation Project-Division B, and presented herewith, be received and placed on file. <br /> Section 2. That the bid of Insituform Technologies USA, LLC be accepted and a contract <br /> awarded accordingly pending IEPA approval of award and receipt of an IEPA loan offer for the <br /> project; and that a Contingency for construction cost overruns be authorized in an amount not to <br /> exceed $40,462.03. <br /> Section 3. That the changes in the above-described agreements areg ermane to said contract, <br /> as signed, and such changes are in the best interest of the City of Decatur and are authorized by law. <br /> Section 4. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute a contract between the City of Decatur, Illinois, and Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, as <br /> the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for said plan, for their bid price of$1,348,734.25; after <br /> IEPA loan approval.
