i <br /> Of the five sets of bids turned in, Anderson Electric, Inc. provided the lowest bid at 16.87% <br /> below the Engineer's Estimate for Bid Alternate 2 and 21.49%below the Engineer's estimate for <br /> Bid Alternate 3. Cummins Crosspoint, a supplier of Cummins Generators from Bloomington, <br /> Illinois, provided the lowest bid for Bid Alternate I at 13.51%below the Engineer's estimate. <br /> SCHEDULE: <br /> Work on this project is expected to be completed before September 1, 2013. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Budget Impact <br /> Revenue for the project was generated by the sale of the Caterpillar 12M Motor Grader and <br /> deposited in the Equipment Replacement Fund. Funding for this project is allocated in the <br /> Equipment Replacement Fund. Revenue from the sale of the surplus Onan 75 KW generator will <br /> be deposited in the Equipment Replacement Fund. The recommended low bid amount is <br /> $127,650 for Bid Alternate 2. <br /> Staff Impact <br /> Staff time has been allocated for this project in the Capital Improvement Plan. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution and bid award. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Richard Marley, Public Works Director, Richard Borders Municipal <br /> Services Manager and Steve Ragan of Architectural Expressions, LLP.
