• July 5, 2011 —Council approved Resolution R2011-103 authorizing a contract in the <br /> amount of$769,808.90 for City Project 2010-14,Water Street Streetscape Enhancement <br /> Project—Phase 1, to Otto Baum Company, Inc. as the lowest qualified bidder. <br /> • October 17, 2011 —Council approved Resolution R2011-137 the expenditure of <br /> $167,075.95 to purchase 60 pedestrian street light poles and luminaires along with 1 lighted <br /> bollard and 5 unlit bollards to match the pedestrian street lights for use on Phase 2 of the <br /> Water Street Streetscape project. <br /> • October 17, 2011 —Council approved Resolution R2011-165 authorizing a contract in the <br /> amount of$2,026,812.30 for City Project 2011-14, Water Street Streetscape Enhancement <br /> Project—Phase 2, to Kinney Contractors, Inc. as the lowest qualified bidder. <br /> • October 17, 2011 —Council was given a presentation on the proposed Main Street <br /> streetscape design. This included the presentation of a traffic analysis of Main Street after <br /> the proposed improvements are completed showing a decrease in traffic speeds which were <br /> not deemed to be excessive. The presentation also included a preview of proposed <br /> streetscape improvements for Lincoln Square, Merchant Street and Prairie Avenue. <br /> • December 19, 2011 —Council was given a presentation on the proposed Main Street <br /> streetscape design which included Lincoln Square, Merchant Street and Prairie Avenue. <br /> • February 6, 2012—Council approved Resolution R2012-06 authorizing the purchase of <br /> various street light poles and luminaires from Sternberg Lighting to be installed as part of <br /> the Main Street Streetscape Enhancement project. The Resolution authorizes the <br /> expenditure of$243,713.28. <br /> • February 21, 2012—Council approved Resolution R2012-28 authorizing a contract in the <br /> amount of$4,087,534.04 for the Main Street Streetscape Enhancement Project, City Project <br /> 2010-17, to Feutz Contractors, Inc. as the lowest qualified bidder. <br /> • February 21, 2012—Council approved Resolution R2012-31 authorizing an Amendment to <br /> the Agreement with Massie Massie &Associates for the Downtown Streetscape and Open <br /> Space Enhancement Program adding $72,000 for a total Agreement amount of$240,000. <br /> • March 19, 2012—Council approved Resolution R2012-54 authorizing Amendment #3 to <br /> the Agreement with Phillip W. Cochran in the amount of$18,500 to provide preliminary <br /> design services for the Central Park phase of the City's downtown streetscape enhancement <br /> program for a total Agreement amount of$417,738.43. <br /> • May 7, 2012—Council was given a presentation on the proposed streetscape improvements <br /> for Central Park and Franklin Street. The presentation included discussion on the current <br /> downtown streetscape enhancement work and the proposed schedule for future work. <br /> • May 21, 2012— Council approved Resolution R2012-111 authorizing an $82,411.57 design <br /> services agreement with Phillip W. Cochran Engineering to provide final design services for <br /> the Central Park phase of the City's downtown streetscape enhancement program. <br /> Page 14 <br />
