Employees with not less than 5 years but fewer than 10 years - 2% <br /> Employees with not less than 10 years but fewer than 15 years - 4% <br /> Employees with not less than 15 years but fewer than 20 years - 6% <br /> Employees with not less than 20 years but fewer than 25 years - 9% <br /> Employees with not less than 25 years - 12% <br /> For patrol officers, the additional percentage referred to herein shall be that percentage of <br /> a patrol officer's salary at Step (6) or Step (7), as applicable, as shown in said Exhibits A, B, or C <br /> for the applicable year, and shall be paid pro rata biweekly. For sergeants, the additional <br /> percentage referred to herein shall be that percentage of a sergeant's salary at Step (2) as shown <br /> in said Exhibits A, B, or C for the applicable year and shall be paid pro rata biweekly. <br /> Section 4. Those employees in the police service, excluding probationary employees <br /> in the field training phase accompanied by a Field Training Officer (FTO), shall receive $.25 per <br /> hour in addition to the wage set out in Exhibits A, B, and C for each hour worked between 7:00 <br /> p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Probationary employees in the Field Training phase that involves continuous <br /> assignment to a Field Training Officer will receive $.25 per hour in addition to the set wage, <br /> regardless of the shift assigned, during the FTO training phase. Upon solo patrol assignment, the <br /> employee shift differential pay will coincide with hours worked between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. <br /> Section 5. The salary and wage applicable to police patrol officers shall be increased <br /> by 10% for such officers who are assigned to plain clothes duty in the Investigations Bureau by <br /> order of the Chief of Police for the period during which said officers are so assigned. The salary <br /> and wage applicable to police sergeants shall be increased by six hundred dollars ($600) <br /> annually, prorated and payable biweekly, for such sergeants who are assigned to plain clothes <br /> duty in the Investigations Bureau by order of the Chief of Police, for the period during which <br /> said officers are so assigned. <br /> Section 6. The salary and wage applicable to police patrol officers shall be increased <br /> by 5% for such officers who are designated as Master Patrol Officers by order of the Chief of <br /> Police for the period during which said officers are so assigned, per Police Department policy A- <br /> 11, entitled "Master Patrol Officer Selection Process". The employer agrees to meet and confer <br /> with the union regarding minor policy changes, e.g., the addition or deletion of a single <br /> evaluation criterion, and the union agrees to waive any right to demand formal mid-term <br /> bargaining regarding such minor policy changes. <br /> Section 7. The salary and wage applicable to police patrol officers shall be increased <br /> by 5% for such officers who are assigned to K-9 duty by order of the Chief of Police for the <br /> period during which said officers are so assigned. An officer assigned K-9 duty shall use the last <br /> half hour of each work day (including K-9 training days) to provide the proper care and <br /> maintenance of the K-9. <br /> Section 8. There shall be no duplication or pyramiding in the computation of <br /> overtime or other premium wages, and nothing in this Agreement shall require the payment of <br /> 9 <br />
