r ' <br /> ATTACHMENT A FOR <br /> TASK ORDER NO. 21 <br /> FOR <br /> AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> Owner: City of Decatur, Illinois <br /> Engineer: Black&Veatch Corporation <br /> Project: Emergency Raw Water Supply Ongoing Engineering <br /> Assistance <br /> Date: February 5, 2013 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Services shall generally consist of the following: Engineer shall assist Owner in <br /> developing emergency water supply alternatives to address recent drought conditions. <br /> Engineer shall provide initial consultation and development and evaluation of conceptual <br /> plans for various water supply options and initiate necessary permitting, specifications, or <br /> engineering needed for time critical tasks that must be started immediately. <br /> Specific tasks to be performed by Engineer under Task Order No. 21 may include: <br /> 1. Meetings with Owner's staff, Sanitary District of Decatur, and regulatory <br /> officials to evaluate, discuss the water supply situation, and develop approaches to <br /> remedy and permitting. <br /> 2. Permitting Assistance. Initiate activities necessary to permit various water supply <br /> options that may be developed. <br /> 3. Provide engineering analysis and evaluation of various water supply options. <br /> 4. Develop the concept of options, evaluate feasibility and cost. <br /> 5. Develop Opinion of Probable Cost for Water Supply options and components <br /> 6. Prepare schedules,timelines, and critical path analysis to develop alternatives and <br /> proposed projects <br /> 7.
