• Four(4) Lighted Bollards. See Fixture B on Figure 1. These bollards match the <br /> pedestrian street lights and are to be placed on the east and west sides of the Transfer <br /> House in Central Park. <br /> • Eighteen(18) 20' Central Park Lights. See Fixture H on Figure 1. These lights are to be <br /> placed to light pedestrian areas within Central Park. <br /> SCHEDULE: <br /> The Central Park phase of the Downtown Streetscape Enhancement program was advertised for <br /> bid on Thursday, August 2"d and bids are due Tuesday, August 21"with Council action on the <br /> contract currently planned for September 4`". The project includes Central Park, North and <br /> South Park Streets, and a portion of the south side of North Street immediately west of Franklin <br /> Street. <br /> BUDGET AND STAFFING IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Budget Impact: Funding for this work is allocated as part of the General Obligation Bonds <br /> authorized by the City Council on November 15, 2010. The Resolution authorizes the <br /> expenditure of$174,934.30 to purchase street lights for the Central Park Streetscape project. <br /> Staffing Impact: Staff time has been allocated for managing the downtown streetscape work. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Massie Massie and Associates, Architectural <br /> Expressions <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Richard Marley, Public Works Director and Matt Newell, City <br /> Engineer.
