BUDGET AND STAFFING IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Budget Impact: Funding for this project is allocated in the Motor Fuel Tax Fund and will be <br /> drawn from the$2,245,000 provided to the City as part of the Jurisdictional Transfer approved in <br /> 2010. The recommended low bid amount is $1,312,048.80. It is proposed that a total project <br /> expenditure of$1,342,048.80 be authorized to allow $30,000 for project contingencies. <br /> An amendment is included to allow Homer L. Chastain &Associates, LLP to provide construction <br /> layout services for the Franklin and Main Streets Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Project, City <br /> Project 2010-13, for an additional fee of$16,308 which is added to the current authorized fee of <br /> $141,431 for a total not to exceed fee of$157,739. <br /> Staffing Impact: Staff time has been allocated for managing this project. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Illinois Department of Transportation <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Richard Marley, Public Works Director, and Matt Newell, City Engineer. <br /> Richard Marley will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any questions of the <br /> Council on this item.
