a routine annual procedure. Due to the press of other design and construction projects, the <br /> preparation of the 2011 MFT resolution was inadvertently missed. A reminder appointment has <br /> been placed on Public Works administrative and engineering calendars to help staff to avoid this <br /> error of omission in future years. Resolutions are attached for 2011 and 2012. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: There are no known objections to this resolution and <br /> agreement. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Illinois Department of Transportation <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Richard Marley, Public Works Director and Matt Newell, City <br /> Engineer. Richard Marley will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any <br /> questions of the Council on this item. <br /> BUDGEUTIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Budget Impact: The proposed resolutions appropriate Motor Fuel Tax funds to reimburse the <br /> General Fund for general traffic signal maintenance work for the following calendar years. <br /> 1. The appropriation of$335,100.00, for traffic signal maintenance and operations for <br /> calendar year 2011. <br /> 2. The appropriation of$367,100.00, for traffic signal maintenance and operations for <br /> calendar year 2012. <br /> General Fund expenditures for traffic signal maintenance work are included in the Public Works <br /> Department - Traffic and Parking Section budget. They are anticipated and ongoing expenses of <br /> the General Fund. <br /> Staffing Impact: Staff time has been allocated in the budget for traffic signal maintenance. <br /> Attach: 4 <br /> Page 12 <br />
