• June 6, 2011 —Council approved Resolution R2011-83 authorizing the purchase of pedestrian street light poles and luminaires to be installed as part of the Water Street Streetscape project. The expenditure was $106,786.75 to purchase 40 pedestrian street light poles and luminaires. • July 5, 2011 —Council approved Resolution R2011-103 authorizing a contract in the amount of $769,808.90 for Water Street Streetscape Enhancement Project—Phase 1, City Project 2010- 14, to Otto Baum Company, Inc. as the lowest qualified bidder. • July 5, 2011 —Council approved Resolution R2011-104 authorizing Change Order#1 to the Agreement with Phillip W. Cochran in the amount of$15,000 to provide construction engineering services for the Water Street Streetscape Enhancement Project—Phase 1 for a total adjusted Agreement amount of$369,238.43. • August 29,2011 —Council approved Resolution R2011-137 authorizing a Change Order with Otto Baum Company and additional funding in the amount of$36,165.58,be added to the contract for the Water Street Streetscape Enhancement Project, City Project 2010-14, for a total project cost of$805,974.48. This Change Order was for the installation of conduit for future event electrical wiring and conduit for future fiber optic communication cable. • October 17, 2011 —Council approved Resolution R2011-137 authorizing the expenditure of $167,075.95 to purchase 60 pedestrian street light poles and luminaires along with 1 lighted bollard and 5 unlit bollards to match the pedestrian street lights for use on Phase 2 of the Water Street Streetscape project. • October 17, 2011 —Council approved Resolution R2011-165 authorizing a contract in the amount of$2,026,812.30 for City Project 2011-14, Water Street Streetscape Enhancement Project—Phase 2, to Kinney Contractors, Inc. as the lowest qualified bidder. • October 17, 2011 —Council was given a presentation on the proposed Main Street streetscape design. This included the presentation of a traffic analysis of Main Street after the proposed improvements are completed showing a decrease in traffic speeds which were not deemed to be excessive. The presentation also included a preview of proposed streetscape improvements for Lincoln Square, Merchant Street and Prairie Avenue. • December 19, 2011 —Council was given a presentation on the proposed Main Street streetscape design which included Lincoln Square, Merchant Street and Prairie Avenue. • February 6, 2012—Council approved Resolution R2012-06 Authorizing the expenditure of $243,713.28 to purchase 39— 12' pedestrian street lights, 14 lighted bollards, 5 - 30' street light poles and 16—22' pedestrian lights for the Main Street Streetscape project. • February 6, 2012—Council was given an informational memo and drawing detailing the proposed Merchant Street entry way sign to be installed on Merchant Street just south of Prairie Avenue as part of the Main Street Streetscape Project. • February 21, 2012—Council approved Resolution R2012-28 authorizing a contract in the amount of$4,087,534.04 for City Project 2010-17, Main Street Streetscape Enhancement Project, to Feutz Contractors, Inc. as the lowest qualified bidder.
