Being added to the Zoning Board of Appeals-Powers and Duties Section XXX.B. <br /> Electronic Message Unit Signs <br /> The Board may grant variances to the required setback for an electronic message unit sign. The <br /> variance granted for the setback shall not reduce the minimum requirement by more than 50 <br /> percent. If a variance is granted, the electronic message unit shall only operate between the <br /> hours of 6:00 a.m. and 11 p.m. Before approving any request for a variance, the Board shall <br /> consider: The effect of the variance on the City of Decatur Comprehensive Plan; whether the <br /> variance will create a safety hazard or exacerbate an existing safety hazard; and, whether the <br /> variance will be detrimental to the overall health safety and welfare of the City as a whole, or <br /> any neighboring property. <br /> Being added to permitted uses in R-6, 0-1 B-1 and B-2 to line up with State Social Service <br /> Administrative Code. Sections IX., X. XI. and XXI. <br /> Day care centers: A fenced outdoor play area shall accommodate 25 percent of the licensed <br /> capacity, any one time. b A_minimum area of 75 square feet per child for the <br /> total number of children using the area at any one time shall be provided or 800 square feet, <br /> whichever is greater. <br />
