ADDITIONS AND <br /> CHAPTER 34 <br /> - TRAFFIC — <br /> 50. TEMPORARY RESERVATION OF PARKING SPACE. <br /> The City Manager or authorized designee may authorize the <br /> temporary reservation of parking meter spaces by individuals, <br /> corporations, or other organizations at the rate of T Ten <br /> Dollars ($10.00) per day for each space so reserved if such reservation is <br /> necessary or desirable in order to allow said individual, corporation or <br /> other organization to perform a service or accomplish a job or project of <br /> short duration. Said fee shall be paid prior to receiving the meter hood. <br /> This section shall apply to all current events, except those that are City_ <br /> sponsored. <br /> 70. DOWNTOWN EMPLOYEE PARKING PERMITS. <br /> A. Each Downtown Employee shall, upon providing proof of <br /> employment in the Central Business District, defined as that area bounded <br /> on the north by the right-of-way line of Eldorado Street, on the west by the <br /> right-of-way line of Church Street, on the south by the right-of-way line of <br /> Wood Street, and on the east by the right-of-way line of Martin Luther King <br /> Jr. Drive, to the Finance Department of the City of Decatur, be eligible to <br /> receive a single, transferable "Downtown Employee Parking Permit " <br /> authorizing the vehicle described in the permit application only, to park in <br /> the Downtown Area, excluding the Customer Parking Zone, for a fee of <br /> Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per month per vehicle, as follows: <br /> (i) From 6:00 A.M. through 4:00 P.M. Mondays through Fridays. <br /> (ii). Vehicles must display valid Downtown Employee Parking <br /> Permit. <br /> L. 111V LV YY 111 afea is <br /> B. Any person found to have parked a vehicle in a designated <br /> "Downtown Employee Parking" space without a valid "Downtown <br /> Employee Parking Permit" will be subject to a fine of Fifty Dollars <br /> ($50.00). <br />
