Excerpts from Plan Commission Minutes of February 4,2010 continued:
The proposed amendment to the PD is consistent with the character of the surrounding
neighborhood and general area as well as with the intent of the original PD and the
Comprehensive Plan.
Staff recommends approval of the amendment to the PD with the following conditions:
1. All of the temporary signage will have to be removed by June 30, 2012 this includes the
three (3) banners on the south side, one (1) on the west, two (2) project announcement
signs at the entrances and the signage encompassing the construction site itself.
2. Sign permits will be required before any signage is installed.
According to section XIX.G.2 of the Zoning Ordinance the Plan Commission shall review the
application at a public hearing and will make findings concerning the consistency of the
application with the Comprehensive Plan, the Zoning Ordinance and other land development
regulations. Based on the findings, the Plan Commission will make a recommendation to the
City Council. A motion to forward Calendar Number 10-02 to the City Council with a
recommendation for approval is suggested.
There were no questions and no petitioner nor objectors present.
It was moved and seconded (Livingston/Edwards) to forward Cal. No. 10-02 to the City Council
with recommendation for approval as presented by staff. Motion carried unanimously.
