Bauer, Assistant City Manager for Administration <br /> Randy Aldrich, Manager, MIS Division <br /> SUBJECT: Purchase of Laserfiche Annual Maintenance Agreement <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that City Council approve the attached <br /> resolution, authorizing the City Manager to execute a purchase agreement with TKB Associates, <br /> Inc. for Laserfiche Annual Maintenance Agreement. <br /> BACKGROUND: The City purchased the Electronic Document Imaging and Management <br /> System software two years ago and has been developing the application and adding Division <br /> support since then. Currently the application is being used in the Public Works, Legal, <br /> Executive, Police, and Finance Departments. This agreement will allow us to update to the <br /> most currently available version of the software. It will also give us access to TKB and <br /> Laserfiche support resources and personnel for problem resolution. This gives us a measure of <br /> protection for the City of Decatur's investment in EDIMS software, applications and training. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTORS: None anticipated. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Gerard J.
