RESOLUTION NO. R2011-105 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR STREET RESTORATION, CITY PROJECT 2011-08 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the tabulation of bids received for City Project 2011-08, Street Restoration project be, and they are hereby, received and placed on file. Section 2. That the bid of Dunn Company, A Division of Tyrolt, Inc., be accepted and a contract awarded accordingly and that said contract between Dunn Company. and the City of Decatur be, and it is hereby modified, so that as modified, said contract authorizes a Contingency in an amount not to exceed $32,834 for a total contract amount not to exceed $1,710,000.00. Section 3. That the changes in the above-described agreements are germane to said contract, as signed, and such changes are in the best interest of the City of Decatur and are authorized by law. Section 4. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract between the City of Decatur, Illinois, and Dunn Company, A Division of Tyrolt, Inc., for said plan for their bid price of $1,677,165.49 plus contingencies in the amount of$32,834 for a total not to exceed cost of$1,710,000.0 PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 5th day f Jul , r I HA R A ATT r Celeste F.
